Voyage à Dresden
International pedagogical project
This educational project is conceived under the sign of the European ideal: a new generation of composers is growing. The idea is to organise a cultural and human exchange between the city of Strasbourg and the city of Dresden. In partnership with the Komponistenklasse Dresden and composers Annette Schlünz and Silke Fraikin, lovemusic develops a creative collaboration between the next generation of composers from Strasbourg and Dresden commemorating the thirtieth anniversary of the twinning of the two cities.
The collective has been partaking in working sessions with young musicians between 9 and 17 years old throughout 2019 and will continue in 2020. In the autumn of 2020, the pieces produced during these workshops would have been performed in several events in Strasbourg and Dresden, but had to be cancelled due to the sanitary crisis, nevertheless we were able to produce a virtual concert.
