This project is the result of a collaboration between the collective lovemusic and the ensemble HANATSUmiroir - two ensembles based in Strasbourg - conceived around the pieces Raffigurar Narciso al fonte and Il motivo degli ogetti di vetro by the Italian composer Salvatore Sciarrino in which the central idea is to create a parallel between a visual reflection and a sound reflection. Francesco Filidei explores instrumental "parasite" sounds - percussive or breath sounds that are instantly absorbed by the surrounding environment. The electroacoustic piece Smart alienation by the Portuguese composer Igor C. Silva is completed by a video that represents the sonic landscape to maximise his musical discourse. Morton Feldman the other hand, in King of Denmark, offers a music of efflorescence, in which the disappearance of impact is replaced by textural complexity creating a music of erosion. The musicians will create a piece inspired by Luigi Nono that will explore the space that a spectrum can develop in the generous acoustic of St Aurelie’s church.
